Why I Chose Blogger

I’m sure by now at least one of you wonders why I used Blogger instead of my much recommended WordPress. Mind you I’m referring to WordPress(dot)org and not the highly limited WordPress(dot)com. Also, don’t ask me about Tumblr, I plan on explaining my thoughts concerning that in a later post.
Though I would love to use it, WordPress is out of my reach as of now. Although it’s free software, to use it I would need a separate host. I budgeted myself $20 per year to operate my website, so an extra $60 per year for hosting on top of $12 for the domain goes beyond what I can do.
Google’s Blogger took two clicks to link to my domain and in one hour I was ready to post. I’m too meticulous to let myself start a website from scratch as it would take days until I would be happy with the results.
Many people try to debate against Blogger due to the risk of sudden death deletion. But for the features Blogger has and the time it saved me, I’m more than willing to face that fea…

The Start of All Things

Here I am typing my first article on a blog of which I'm still not completely sure I should've made, but for some reason I'm compelled to make this happen. Maybe it's fate or maybe it's my conscience attempting to make me accountable for this process of book writing. Either way, welcome to my blog and welcome to my world. The PurposeI intend for this to be an easy and entertaining way for me to log my book writing progress, and also have a readily accessible way for those who are interesting to stay informed. I will likely be writing about the world building process and other topics I've learned about building a story. The ProgressI will be making changes to the website's layout to try to better appeal to my own tastes as I go. Currently I'm working on a way to make seperate pages, and maybe an image of some sort as a quick guide to my bookwriting progress.
